Euston Station

After the museum, we're ready for a nap, but we have not bed to go to, so instead with Tube back to Earl's Court have a pint at the Blackbird.  Then we pick up our bags from our hotel and Tube it to Euston Station.

Rant Alert! We passed through several train stations in London- King's Cross, Euston, Earl's Court- and every single one of them was considerably nicer in every way than Penn Station in New York, which we commute through five days a week.  Why is that?  Why must our train stations be so terrible?  Wouldn't more people be willing to take mass transit in the US if the experience wasn't so disgusting?

There's supposed to be a really good gastropub near Euston Station (called Euston Tap), but it is pouring rain and we have our bags in tow.  So we settle for dinner at the Britannia, a pub in Euston Station itself.  Dinner is acceptable, especially for a restaurant in a train station, and the beer and wine are good.
